The first burial to take place in Groveside was that of the late Mrs. Nancy Holt in the spring of 1874. Since then, Groveside has become the final resting place for many Whitby residents and their families.
Whether it be cremation burial in our Garden of the Four Seasons or traditional casket interment, you can be well assured that your loved ones’ final resting place will be well cared for with the utmost respect and dignity.

What’s most moving about a Place to Remember is the timelessness of its meaning, connections, and beauty. Whether you choose traditional interment or cremation, Arbor Memorial cemeteries offer family, friends, and future generations the invaluable benefit of permanent commemoration spaces, for connecting and reflection.
Arbor cemeteries have been designed to be welcoming places where you can remember and reflect. They’re modern, offering personalized ways to lay your loved one to rest. And they’re convenient, often located on the same property as our funeral homes.
